Accountabilities

 

This is a newly created role within an expanding team and organisation.

 

You will be responsible for providing advice in relation to contentious construction claims. The advice must benefit the company so they can make commercial, cost effective and strategic advice as soon as possible.

 

You will handle negotiations and commercial settlements but on occasion, you may refer to external counsel for adjudications, advocacy and complex / high level litigation. 

 

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor, 3 – 10 years PQE
  • Personable, robust, confident and have a flexible attitude
  • Essential experience – Commercial litigation lawyers who have some exposure to the construction/ property development, engineering or utilities sectors

 

Salary and Culture

In return, you will be rewarded with a salary plus a car allowance, bonus and benefits. Some degree of flexible working arrangements may be considered.

The development opportunities come down to you – you can expand your experience within the litigation field but there is also the prospect of developing your knowledge and skills across the other departments or perhaps jurisdictions.
