We are currently recruiting for a Principal Safety Case Assessor within the Nuclear industry.

The successful candidate should have demonstrable training and experience of the following areas:
   • HAZOP Chair
   • Preparation of Sellafield Limited COSR Documentation
   • Hazard Identification (HAZ ID)
   • Fault Schedule preparation and screening
   • Hazard analysis, principally in the use of Sellafield methodology
   • ALARP Assemssments
   • Preparation of PSR, PCSR, PCmSR, POSR safety cases
   • Carrying out independent Nuclear Safety Assessments / Peer Reviews
   • Preparation of Facility Safety Cases
   • Liaising with the NII
   • A detailed knowledge of Safety Assessment Principles.

The role will be a mixture of technical delivery and some project and business management. Whilst the focus will be on technical delivery, there will be opportunities to become more involved in the project management and business management.

Main duties will include:
   • Preparation of safety assessments and safety cases for clients
   • Project Management of safety case
   • Mentoring and coaching junior consultants
   • Leading and supporting the preparation of Expressions of Interest and Tenders.
