We are looking to recruit an Engineering Manager who will be accountable for all aspects of design and engineering services provided by the design group including safety, technical performance. Maintainability, operability and constructability, design costs, cost effectiveness of design solutions and design schedule.

Key Responsibilities include:
   • EH&S Management as applied in a design engineering environment
   • Manage quality of Design Engineering
   • Lead multidisciplinary teams
   • Manage cost of design
   • Manage schedules of design teams
   • Design processes, management and controls
   • Budget planning and management
   • Quality management and internal auditing

The ideal Candidate will have the following:
   • Extensive experience in major project design of mineral processing plants
   • Experience of management of design engineering teams working on major projects
   • Well developed leadership skills
   • Strong attention to detail
   • Customer focused
   • Strong commitment to continuous improvement
   • Mechanical experience
   • Are currently or have previously worked in South Africa
