An exciting opportunity has arisen for a regulatory lawyer to support this household name business advising the UK and EMEA regions. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a larger legal team whilst working in a niche regulatory and compliance role. The team is a supportive environment where you will have the opportunity to develop both your legal and commercial skills in a fast paced and forward-thinking business. The quality of work is very high, and you will be given all the support and training typical of a large law firm whilst getting involved directly supporting a global technology business.
Our client seeks an experienced lawyer with significant proficiency in FCA regulations who can work as part of a regulatory team which provides compliance advice to the business globally. This is a non-contentious advisory role which will entail implementing new policies and procedures, reviewing contracts in line with FCA regulations and helping the organisation navigate any possible breaches and mitigate risk.
The ideal candidate will be a UK qualified solicitor. You will have prior experience of the above including managing relationships with regulators; FCA regulations gained while working in financial services. Effective communication, judgement and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
