Electric Vehicle Sector - FIRST GROUP LAWYER

Location: Thames Valley
An excellent opportunity to be the first group legal adviser for a fast-growing entrepreneurial business working within the electric car sector. You will have the opportunity to stamp your mark as part of the senior executive team and will direct and implement legal strategy across the group. You willdirectly support the Board in the continued growth of the company and undertake on a broad range of legal duties. This is an important and highly respectable position within the business. You must be able to operate autonomously, work with staff across the business and deliver advice confidently.
The role will be varied dealing with everything from cross-border commercial contracts, to compliance, regulatory, IP, corporate issues and managing disputes. You will also direct external counsel and overseeing legal spend.
You must be prepared to roll up your sleeves and tackle day to day legal/commercial matters but also have an influence on the businesses strategy and future development.

Preferably, you will have:
- Qualified Solicitor – 6+ PQE
- Commercial contracts experience (Essential)
- In-House experience (Desirable)
- Engineering, Automotive, Manufacturing,IT/Tech sector exposure (Prefered)
